Don’t be a stranger.

“Don’t be a stranger,” the Uncle said connecting a kiss to the cheek of his niece.

Finally, she understood what he meant.  It was not an admonishment, not a guilt trip – had not been that at all over the years.  Just: We like you, we miss you … and you like the country more than we like the city.  So don’t forget we’re here.
